Each negative word draws failure into your life, and each Spirit-filled word draws success into your life.

Joshua is encouraged to focus on the Word of God:

“This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.”

Joshua 1:8

We also have to express the words in faith:

“²²And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. ²³Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.”

Mark 11:22-23

“Everything has ears”

I quote sections from Ezekiel 37:1-10:

“¹The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones…. ³And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, You know! ⁴Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O you dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. ⁵…Behold, I will cause breath and spirit to enter you, and you shall live; ⁶And I will lay sinews upon you and bring up flesh upon you and cover you with skin, and I will put breath and spirit in you, and you [dry bones] shall live…. ⁹Then said He to me, Prophesy to the breath and spirit, son of man, and say to the breath and spirit, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath and spirit, and breathe upon these slain that they may live. ¹⁰So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath and spirit came into [the bones], and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great host.”

Ezekiel 37:1, 3-6, 9-10

Here we see the power when Spirit-filled words are applied. A situation that is humanly speaking impossible (dead bones) is turned around when Spirit-filled words are spoken over it. It is important that we see that it is a process, which means we must continue speaking Spirit-filled words until it manifests in the flesh.

Steps to start speaking the right words

1. Decide to speak life-giving words
2. Study the Bible and pray for wisdom. Then, in faith, speak Spirit-filled words of life into each situation. Continue to do that until an outcome is reached.
